Gloucester is a city and district in Southwest England and it’s very close to Welsh border, between the Cotswolds to the east and the Forest of Dean to the southwest.
For me, Gloucester is different from the other typical English city. Gloucester is less busy, more spacious and cleaner. We first visited the Gloucester Docks which is the former dock estate becoming a popular tourist spot for the visitors.
There are plenty of boats including narrow boats, small motor cruisers, occasional yacht and the tall ship. There are warehouses and some dock-related buildings which are used for other purposes nowadays.
Walking along the docks, we saw craftsmen busy working on the vessels in and around the large and small dry docks. Gloucester seems to be a nice place to take great pictures.
It was a breezy day and was one of the fine mornings during winter. It was really nice to have a walk with Lewis after his crazy workload. Since Lewis is a fan of Wetherspoon, we decided to have lunch there before we headed to the town. In order to share some nice pictures here, I looked like a lunatic who took a bunch of pictures of every single angle of Gloucester. Well, who cares! As long as I have my collections and you guys enjoy the photos.
